Jim Hickox (Director of Pre-Construction) Jim Hickox has been employed with Elcon Electric since its inception, initially working as Foreman, Shop Superintendent, Estimator, Senior Project Manager, and now Director of Pre-Construction. He possesses an attitude of "whatever it takes to get the job done." Shawn Wortinger (Senior Pre-Construction Manager) comes to Elcon with over eight years of professional experience (5 years estimating / 3 years project management). Shawn earned his Construction Management degree from Purdue University and is certified in the following areas: Estimating & Bidding, Construction Cost Control, Voice Data Systems, Fire Alarm Installation, Fiber Optic Systems, Pre-fabrication Concepts, Planning & Scheduling, Blueprint Reading for Supervisors. Dan Whittier (Pre-Construction Manager) has been employed by Elcon Electric since 2000. He started his career as a field employee, was brought into the office as a trainee and recently promoted to Estimator. Dan is a graduate of the ABCI program. Stephanie McConchie (Pre-Construction Manager) is a recent graduate of University of Florida's School of Construction Management and specializes in tenant projects. |
